Garlic bread with greens

You will need
  • -6 large cloves of garlic, minced
  • -1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • -1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • -1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • - sprinkle with ground black pepper
  • -1/2 cup olive oil
  • -1 big loaf of fresh italian bread
Instruction
Preheat oven to 240 degrees. Prepare all ingredients and work surface.
Add all ingredients except bread and butter to a small saucepan. To simmer over low heat for 3-5 minutes or until complete preparation of garlic.
Slice the bread in half horizontally and spread one half of the butter. Spread the garlic and herb mixture onto the other half.
Cover the bread and wrap in foil. Bake on the middle shelf at 240 degrees for 5 minutes. Then open the foil and continue baking for another 5 minutes.
After cooking, remove the foil and cut into slices. Serve with soups, mashed potatoes or stews.
