Tip 3: How to make apple honey biscuit cake

You will need
  • - 350 g of flour;
  • - a pinch of salt;
  • - 1.5 tsp. baking powder;
  • - 150 g butter;
  • - 150 g of sugar;
  • - 1 lemon;
  • - 4 sweet varieties of apples;
  • - 2 eggs;
  • - 170 ml of milk;
  • - 2 tbsp. honey
Get the butter and eggs from the refrigerator beforehand: they should be at room temperature and the butter should soften.
Separate the whites from the yolks and beat with a whisk in a dense foam. Put in the fridge.
Mix the softened butter in a combine with the addition of sugar to a light air cream. Add the yolks to the oil mixture and mix again until smooth.
With lemon peel and squeeze the juice. Add the zest to the cream mixture and set aside the juice for now.
Sift the flour with baking powder and salt into a spacious bowl. Alternately add milk and a mixture of dry ingredients to the buttered yolk mixture. Beat well after each addition.
Add the whipped proteins to the remaining ingredients and mix gently.
Apples cut into thin slices.
Pour the dough into the form (pre-lubricate it with butter and sprinkle with flour) and put the slices of apples on top. Optionally, you can sprinkle some cake on top with sugar and send it to an oven heated to 180 degrees for an hour.
Heat honey and lemon juice in a saucepan. Mix until smooth. When the cake is ready, pour the resulting sauce onto it. Let stand 5-7 minutes and serve warm.
